Hrvoje or Hal has been in the business for quite some time. He started working as a 16 year old during school breaks in mid 90s and full time immediately after and through Uni until today. Many of his jobs or education engagements overlapped with others. He successfully studied Physics for 3 years, but while away for work, education system has changed and he did not return as his business already picked up, although having about 95% of IECTS for completion which could not be easily transferred. As his IT career and business picked up, his strong focus was on starting his first company at the age of 24.
His work experience always included a mix of technical (IT) and non technical work and through most of his career, he reported directly to the management. He started his company after being a silent partner in another small business and later started one more company which he later gave to his friend.
On almost every job he had, Hrvoje ended up as the most senior technical person and the person involved in the business development. Strong networking with people allowed him to run his own small business in the difficult and competitive Croatian economy and well into recession. He winded up his business in preparation to move to Australia and taking a job in a smaller company which dealt with the largest clients in Croatia -  national oil and gasoline company, government departments, banks, etc delivering Enterprise IT infrastructure. Even today, he is still assisting them. Through years, he volunteered and assisted many small smart ups and not-for-profits. He moved to Australia in January 2013 and he became a Australian citizen in 2018. He is currently officially a Solution Architect/L3/Escallations/Projects in ForwardIT with addition of pre-sales and account management and delivering some of the largest projects this company has, Member of the Board of Directors (NatCom) in Australian Mensa (representative for ACT) and future CEO and owner of P8otect. He is also a Vice President of a local Toastmasters club (Public Relations), Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and very passionate about sailing - a skill that he taught himself. He also loves animals.

Tas is the Founder and Director at Cognidius Solutions, and a Data Scientist with PhD in Information Systems. She has over a decade of experience with Business Information and Decision Systems. Her area of expertise is automated reduction of Cognitive Bias in Decision Systems. Currently, she is working as the Lead Data Scientist on Cognitive Decision System for Australian Defence Force Logistics Division. She is also the Machine Learning adviser on Compliance and Assurance Risk Management (CARM) tool for The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), Australian Defence Force.

Robert Duncombe

Robert is an IT industry veteran. His experience has technical roots and he was highly technical, however he has spent years as a Solutions Consultant in Dell and later as a Business Development Manager in ForwardIT, enabling sales and implementation of large projects for Australian Government. His experience, contacts and overall wit will enrich our efforts to gain interesting new customers.
